Overlord is the new action title developed by Triumph Studios and published by Codemasters. This is a game that combines action, adventure and role, to offer the player a universe where evil is the key to success. Are you prepared to be the new lord of evil?.

In this game you must embody illustrious and armed Overlord, bringing an army of lethal minions and implement a plan to dominate the once tranquil land. As you're leaving behind the trusting local people, use your army of loyal minions to gather souls, growing your militia and show that the creatures around out there that there is a new lord of the city.

Although in Overlord you will have the opportunity to finish directly with the enemies in a similar way to many action games, the main advantage is to order your henchmen to do it for you. In addition, the more tasks you give them the better for your faithful followers, as they climb levels and you can strengthen them with, for example, armour in the form of pumpkin. Intimidate a few peasants and confront the trolls you find in the road while you enjoy the havoc caused by your horde of slaves as they walk.
Overlord is also outstanding in its graphic section which has been carefully built with a very high quality in the modelling of both your character as well as your henchmen. Details are so well done in many of the scenarios, you will even see the grass moving in the wind.

Overlord is a good game to play occasionally. Discovering the rest of the world is exciting and motivating for the first 3-4 hours. However, after that time, levels of fun decline since the same action (to send Minions against opponents) is repeated constantly. But if you enjoyed Dungeon Keeper, You'll Like Overlord.

mips VersaCheck Review:

I've been using version 1.0 of VersaCheck Personal for over 10 years. This is a great product if you need (or want) to design and print your own checks. This software is extremely easy to use. It allows the user to add custom graphics for the background image, import bank logos, add custom artwork such as a monogram beside your name. It even allows you to include your digital signature so you don't need to hand-sign each check. It will sequentially number each check, includes numerous styles of personal or business size checks, and includes templates compatible with Quicken, QuickBooks, MS Money, Peachtree, Great Plains, and many more accounting packages. Or, you can simply print out blank checks, complete with lines for payee, amount, date, memo field, etc. and fill them out by hand You will never have to order pre-printed checks again! I purchased blank check paper for $16.95 - enough to print 900 checks! That is a fraction of the cost of ordering checks through your bank! You can even print deposit slips!

Simply enter your information once (name, address, bank name, routing and account number, starting check number, etc.) then print as many or as few checks as you wish. The software stores your information making printing checks the next time quick and easy. Each account setup can be password protected to prevent unauthorized printing, and you can store numerous accounts or designs. Want to print holiday checks? No problem! Simply import your holiday clipart and print as many or as few checks as you need!

If you write checks, this is a must-have program! I have used the software on Windows 95 all the way up to Windows Vista without problems.
